HISTORY

Early on, Justin was mentored by David J. Ryfsnyder, a seasoned entrepreneur who had just sold his family’s web company for untold millions during the Dot Com boom. David's guidance helped shape the principles of quality, strategy, and long-term thinking that still guide HVAC Volt today.

After returning to Seattle, Justin launched Dot Com Design Group (later DCDG LLC), serving clients from Land Rover dealerships to top eCommerce brands. He even consulted for the U.K. government in London.

But Justin's connection to the HVAC field runs much deeper. At age 10, he attended a Mr. Wizard-inspired workshop that sparked a lifelong love for mechanical systems and engineering. He spent his first two college years as an engineering major, and most recently worked as a commercial electrician - working closely with HVAC & Plumbing contractors, and sometimes Roofers.

That rare blend of hands-on trade experience, marketing know-how, and technical expertise laid the foundation for Trades Volt—a company built to help home services contractors get more jobs with less hassle through practical, AI-powered marketing.
